KEY achievements over the 8 years of COMPASS
- Reduction of Defaulter Rates from 49% to 5% in 5 targeted districts (Year 2022)
- Increase in number of health facilities screening for cervical cancer from 311 ART sites to 391 ART sites (Year 2021)
- Devolvement of the National drug budget by 10% to enable health facilities to procure medicines from private pharmacies when the government main supplier experiences stock outs (Year 2022)
- Increase in funds allocation for procurement of medicines through recapitalization of Central Medical Stores Trust with 28 billion Malawi kwacha (Year 2021 – 2024)
- Increase in prosecution of cases of drug theft and pilferage from 15 to 22 (2021-2023)
- Development of Rules and Regulations for the PMRA Act of 2019 (Year 2021- 2023)
