About Pangaea Zimbabwe
Pangaea Zimbabwe is a registered local Private Voluntary Organization (PVO 10/20) that envisions a world in which all human beings live healthy, productive, and quality lives. Founded in 2012, PZ strives to transform the lives of underserved populations by increasing access to quality, responsive, evidence-based, client-centred comprehensive health services.

Pangaea Zimbabwe, as Prime and Secretariat of COMPASS Africa
Prime and Secretariat Role
Pangaea Zimbabwe serves as the liaison between the coalition and the funder, manages fiduciary sub-granting to ensure transparency and accountability, and provides organisational development support focused on grant and financial management, institutional capacity strengthening in key domains, and equipping partners with tools and systems to sustain their work and influence.
Internal Communications
PZ ensures effective communication at all levels, including one-on-one engagement with partners, within country coalitions, across regional thematic working groups, and with global partners and the wider coalition, while facilitating open, consistent, and inclusive dialogue that strengthens internal collaboration and shared purpose.
Coalition Health and Governance
Safeguard and uphold COMPASS’s vision and mission while adapting to evolving contexts, it also maintains partner alignment and commitment, facilitate decision-making and conflict resolution, respond to emerging coalition issues, nurture South–South, South–North, and in-country partnerships, and align the four thematic working groups to coalition-wide outcomes.
Strengthening Country Coalitions
Supports ACT Zimbabwe, CSAF Malawi, and COMPASS Tanzania by reinforcing partners’ autonomy, strengthening country coalitions, and safeguarding COMPASS’s foundation and long-term impact.
