Scope of work :

TaNPUD  

• Promote quality harm reduction programs implementation and human rights for People Who Use Drugs.
• Address harassment, stigma, and discrimination for People Who Use Drugs.
• Mobilize resources for making the network self-sustainable, effective and efficient organization which is primarily accountable to its members.
• Advocate for and promote the provision of quality health services  to people who use drugs  throught Tanzania.
• Facilitate promotion of skills building and multiple livehood options for People Who use Drugs across the country.
• Improve the participation and involvement of People Who Use Drugs in influencing the decision making at the policy level and implementation.
• Advocate and contribute to the development and promotion of national drug policy, laws and practices that are equitable, evidence based and respectful of human rights.
• Strengthen the network by building linkages and partnership with Multilateral Implementing Partners, Forum Agencies and like -minded organizations.
• Promote prevention education related to drug use among the people who use drugs especially youth.
• Support Women Who Use Drugs on Gender Based Violence and equality interventions
